Dipkar in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – As part of our efforts to share our compassion and love with the needy through free meals, on the Saturday morning of 18 February of 2017, Dipkar’s Food for the Poor (DFP) provided 250 free meals for the poverty-stricken, disabled and elderly people without caregivers, and poor workers in Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City. DFP program keeps running here every Saturday morning.
So far (as of 18 February, 2017) DFP program has reached 3 locations including District 2 (every Thursday morning), Binh Thanh District (every Saturday morning), and Go Vap District (every Saturday morning), providing a total of 840 free meals per week for the needy people in Ho Chi Minh City.
The success of the DFP program can be attributed to the great efforts of DIPKAR members and especially the invaluable sponsorship from external donors who wholeheartedly offered us volunteer hours or financial support. We would like to express our deepest gratitude towards them for their help.
We look forward to expanding our DFP program into other locations to help more needy people. Therefore, we need all of your assistance to continue on the journey of bringing love and compassion to the poor.
